Beacon Platform is pleased to announce that Alla Liberman, Beacon’s Chief Financial  Officer and Chief Operating Officer, has been named as an Inspiring Fintech Female of 2023, by NYC Fintech Women.

The mission of NYC Fintech Women is to connect, empower, and promote women in the Fintech industry. This year’s list of Inspiring Fintech Females showcases women who are transforming the industry and advocating for women and gender equity.

“We received a large number of nominations this year, and the judges were incredibly impressed with your industry achievements, influence, and your advocacy for women in fintech,” said Michelle Tran, Co-Founder NYC FinTech Women. 

“I am honored by this award and the recognition of the importance of advocating for women and diversity in the industry. It is a privilege to be among this talented and accomplished group, and to be able to demonstrate the possibilities for women to break through artificial boundaries imposed by society,” said Alla Liberman.

In Alla’s time at Beacon she has shepherded strategy, operations, organizational structure, and finance to be critical contributors to the company’s continued success. She is leveraging her 20+ years of investment experience and macroeconomic understanding to ensure that budget and other resources are available to execute the company’s strategy, and that the strategy is developed with full awareness and consideration of financial realities. 

Alla also commits a considerable amount of volunteer time to mentoring women (and men) within the company and throughout the industry. Her foundational advice is to continuously learn, ask questions, work hard, and not be shy to ask for what they want in their career, compensation, or other goals.
